EAST TAUNTON ELEMENTARY PRE-PRACTICUM
In my final year of college, I began my pre-practicum and student teaching at East Taunton Elementary with my supervising practitioner, Alexandra Moitoza. In this classroom, I was able to observe how Mrs.Moitoza taught in and managed a first gradeĀ classroom, and was also able to create and implement my own lessons within the classroom. This culminated in a one-week takeover in which I created the lessons and lesson plans for, and taught and led an entire week of teaching independently.

GENERATION TEACH TEACHING FELLOW
This was an incredible teaching internship in which I was able to lead a virtual classroom every weekday for middle-schoolers in underserved communities atĀ the GenerationTeach Virtual Summer Academy. I planned lessonsĀ with a co-teacher, switched off leading and supporting (tech) 4Ā different classes of about 10 or moreĀ diverse students, and received and implemented daily coaching and feedback from professional teachers. PAUL CUFFEE ELEMENTARY PRE-PRACTICUM
During the fall 2019 semester, I started my math and science pre-practicum at Paul Cuffee Elementary in Providence, RI, with my amazing supervisor, Brooke Beach. This was an incredible experience with a school that fit exactly the kind of diverse study body, safe and inclusive environment, and educational values and goals in culturally responsible student-centered teaching that I hold. I observed and work as a teaching assistant in the Math Intervention classroom, and also joined Susan Prouty in her kindergarten class for observations and lessons in science.

ARCHBISHOP PORTERS TEACHER OF SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP
On a faculty-led trip to Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana, I co-created lesson plans and led a class in entrepreneurship with two other Wheaton students for 30-40 high school high school students from Archbishop Porters High School.
